Three martyrs of a clash between security forces and a terrorist sleeper cell that was dismantled in Piranshahr, northwest of Iran, were laid to rest on Friday.
The funeral procession of the martyrs were held in Orumiyeh, Naqadeh and Miandoab in the West Azarbaijan Province.
They were killed in an anti-terrorist operation in Piranshahr, West Azarbaijan Province, on Thursday.
Iran's Ministry of Intelligence announced on the same day that a terrorist cell missioned to provoke more unrest in Iran was dismantled and its members were arrested following a clash with the security forces.
One terrorist was killed, and other members of the cell were injured in the clash, said the ministry.
Today another terrorist cell was busted in Lorestan Province to the northwest of Iran.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Intelligence, members of a sleeper cell affiliated to the terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) were uncovered and arrested.
