Martyr Jahanara as Depicted by the Supreme Leader

Navideshahed: At the same time of tours to visit the war zones of the Holy Defense (Rahiyan Noor), the Information Base of the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of the Supreme Leader works through a specialization titled ‘Plaque’ reviewed the guidance and directions of the Grand Ayatollah Khamenei regarding the narrations of martyrs life, memories and the narrations of the supreme leader regarding the five commanders of the Holy Defense, a section of the wills of these martyrs and a short memory expressed by the martyrs or their comrades.

We didn\'t have much hope to survive. We could see the death. The war veterans would express their wills over the wireless phone and someone else was writing down their will on the other side of the wireless system. The scene was really painful. The war veterans wanted to open fire, I said: ‘since we are going to die, so at least let us to kill some of the enemy forces and then to die. The tanks were shooting towards different places. The second one was retreating which hit to the wall of one of the buildings. The commandership car was behind us and it was moving backward with the reverse gear. When I observed that the tank was retreating, I stood up and I shouted: “Allah O Akbar, Allah O Akbar…attack them; suddenly the enemy forces escaped the scene…”?

Martyr Mohammad Jahan Ara based on the narration of Ayatollah Khamenei

Right now I would like to remember Mohammad Jahan Ara, the respectful martyr of Khorramshahr and other martyrs who resisted in the innocent Khorramshahr city like that. During that time, I observed the events in Ahvaz city in person. In fact Khorramshahr had no armed forces; not only it did not have 120.000 forces, but also it did not have 10.000 or 5.000 forces too. The late martyr Agharab Parast who was a committed Army officier had taken some repaired tanks to Khorramshahr from Khosro Abad. Of course it is related to later. There were no forces in the main part of the Khorramshahr city.

Mohammad Jahan Ara and other youths had stood against an equipped armored Army of Iraq, a brigade of special forces with 90 cannons that they would open fire on Khorramshahr continuously. They resisted for 35 days. As they would shoot missiles on Baghdad, the heavy mortar and cannon shells and bombs would be dropped on Khorramshahr on the houses of people. Despite of this, our youths resisted for 35 days; but Baghdad gave up during three days! Iran’s Nation! You should be proud of your youths and war veterans. After that when they wanted to take Khorramshahr, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Army forces, Basij and the people forces whose statistics was lower than Iraqis surrounded Khorramshahr and they captured about 15000 Iraqis within one or two days. The eight year Imposed War Era is a strange teaching story. I don’t know why some authorities neglect in presenting the great issues of the Imposed War Era.

The End
