Investigating the Inclinations of the Shahed Students of High Schools towards Studying and Reading Books in 2000 _ 2001 in Behshahr

The present research is aimed at investigating the inclinations of the high school shahed students toward studying and reading books in 2000 _ 2001 in Behshahr. The population of the research includes all the male and female shahed high school students of Behshahr, the number of whom is 240 persons. The research samples were 100 persons whom the researcher has chosen from among the community of the research. The means of the research is a researcher made questionnaire.
The results indicate that:
1. There are not appropriate libraries in shahed schools of Behshahr in order to create the spirit of studying and reading books.
2.The high price of books in past years has been an influential factor in lack of orientation toward studying and reading books.
3.Cooperation between management of the Martyrs’ Foundation and their perpetual relation with the managers of the shahed schools can be effective in increasing the inclination of the shahed students towards studying and reading books.
4.Cooperation between management of the Martyrs’ Foundation and their perpetual relation with the shahed families can create the spirit of studying and reading books.
5.Specifying privileges such as scientific, research, religious, recreational trips, giving valuable prizes to the chosen students in shahed scientific, reading books, and sports matches by the martyrs’ foundation can also create the spirit of studying and reading books.
6.Solidarity of the family, spiritual and emotional peace, economical and spiritual welfare and ... in the families of these children has a direct relationship to increasing the spirit of studying and reading books.
7.Due to the great volume of the books, the students have not a lot of free time to study books other than text books.
8.Some times having not accustomed to studying has been accounted for as the reason for lack of studying.
