Social Acceptance is a social phenomenon which is special behaviors that a person shows to others in order to achieve his or her goals and this brings about social interaction.
The present research aims at investigating the social acceptance of the shahed and non _ students. The research methodology is descriptive and is of comparative kind. The community of research is comprised of the second grade shahed students of the secondary schools of Region 3 of the Ministry of Education _ Tehran Office.
The volume of the samples is 100 persons including 50 shahed and 50 non _ shahed Students. The statistical methods used in order to analyze the data collected are x² Test and Agreement coefficient. The means for collecting data is questionnaire (identifying questions, questions assessing viewpoints).
The results of the research show that:
1.Social acceptance and social behavior of the shahed students and non _ shahed students are not different.
2.Literacy on the part of mothers is an effective factor on the Social acceptance of the shahed students.
3.The kind of mothers’ occupation is not that effective on the social acceptance of the students.
4.Remarriage of mothers, due to the presence of father, can be an effective factor on the Social acceptance of the shahed children.
5.Shahed students, who are living in a family where most of the members are educated, are socially more accepted.
6.Fathers’ occupations can not be an effective factor on the social acceptance of the students.
7.The volume of the family can be an effective factor on the social acceptance of the students.
8.Educational Success can not be an effective factor on the social acceptance of the students.
