The present research is intended to investigate the factors and elements that are influential on the educational progress and failure of the shahed students. The research methodology is documentary and descriptive. The research community includes all the shahed secondary school students of Birjand. The data were analyzed by the use of descriptive statistics (frequency tables and bar diagrams) and the following results were gained:
