Ali-Reza Hanifi: Provide Facilities for Sacred Defense Writers to Go on Research Trips

In an interview with NavideShahed reporter, Ali-Reza Hanifi referred to visits of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? to martyrs’ families and said: “My question is why the officials who visit these respected people (Martyrs’ families) -who are memories of nights of blood and fire- don’t take writers with themselves. Why don’t they plan travels to war regions for these writers?”? In continuation he said: “It is not fair to say no work has been done in the field of sacred defense literature. As brave men of this country sacrificed lives, many of writers have also written regarding golden period of sacred defense from the depth of their hearts. They were a complete and bright mirror of self sacrifice of these brave children. They acted like Hazrat Zeinab in this regard. And this investment still continues.”? Hanifi referred to holding short story writing contests and said: “This contest was held by “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”?. And the first volume of selected works was published in a book under the title of “Yousof”?. And it shows wide spread interest of young writers and existing a large number of such young writers. As it was said by head of the contest, they first imagined that no work would be sent to the contest. But receiving more than 1000 works made this hope alive that resistance literature is still alive in streets and lanes.”? Sacred defense literature requires supervision and care, Hanifi said.
