When the Iraqi executioners' savagery reached its climax and the difficulties were as extent as it broke up captives' resistance and patience, there was only one refuge and shelter for all; it was the remembrance of Allah. In that condition, we enjoyed this verse with its meaning: "verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." Since they took one of the captives out of the camp, all in the barracks prayed. This prayer wasn't only for such situation. At midnights, when most of the people are sleeping, the captives whispered God.
