Imam Khomeini Demise Anniversary commemorated in U.S

Several participants analyzed Imam Khomeini’s character traits, as well as his political, religious, domestic and international achievements. Head of the Iranian interests section in America, Dr. Mostafa Rahmani, praised the character of the late Imam while stressing on his wisdom and leadership in different stages of the Islamic Revolution, especially the holy defense period. Head of the center for Islamic teachings in Maryland, Hojjat-Ol-Islam Ahmad Bahraini, recited some of Imam’s poetry, while praising his efforts in enhancing the dignity of the Islamic world. Dr. Mahmoud Ayyub, Professor of Islamic studies at Pennsylvania’s temple university stated that wisdom, justice and courage are among the character traits of a leader. “Imam Khomeini was a model leader in our time, in the true meaning of the word”? he said. The commemoration ceremony was organized by the Islamic Studies center of Maryland.
