Seifollah Dad to chair Islamic World film biennale

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - In a decree by the head of the Arts department, Seifollah Dad and Mohammad Ali Hasan Nejad were appointed as the president and the secretary of the first Biennale of Islamic World films. Seifollah Dad is the director of renowned films like “Remnant”? and “Kani Manga”?. During the presidency of Sayed Mohammad Khatami and the terms of Attaollah Mohajerani and Ahmad Masjid Jamei as ministers of culture and Islamic Guidance, he was the head of the cinematic department of the ministry. He resigned in 2002 and was replaced by Mohammad Hasan Pezeshk.
