Navideshahed - Ahmad Motevaselian, an Iranian military attaché, was one
of four Iranians who disappeared in Lebanon in 1982. During the Iran–Iraq War,
he was a commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and established the
27th Muhammad Rasool-Allah Division of Tehran. During the days of the sacred
defense Ayatollah Khamenei, Imam Khomeini's representative went to visit the
operational region in the west and also visited Marivan fore front. Ayatollah
Khamenei entered to Marivan region. Haj Ahmad Motevaselian welcomed Imam
Khomeini's representative warmly in 1982.
They had a meeting in a building with each other. During the meeting they talked about the Iranian forces and their location in the region at the border line in Marivan.
That was a very good meeting. As Ayatollah Khamenei moved back to Tehran explained about the crucially of the Bathi regime and anti – revolution groups at the Friday prayer, Ayatollah Khamenei also spoke about the courage and suffers of Haj Ahmad Motevaselian and said:
"I visited a young commander in Marivan that moved from Tehran with 180 forces into the fore front two years ago. All of them were martyred and only 3 of them are still alive. The young commander is waiting for martyrdom every moment".
