The trouble of language!

Some of the war veterans were captured by the Iraqis. One of the captives was an old man and he had got thirsty and he would continuously mention "Water, Water” in Arabic language. Since the Iraqis were looking for an Iranian who knows Arabic and who can make them informed about the situation of Iranian war veterans, they investigated him.

As long as the Iranian captive said ‘Water’, the Iraqis surrounded him and they asked him if he knew Arabic. The old man said no I don’t know Arabic, but I swear to God that I only know this word in Arabic!

The Iraqis argued so much and after that they were convinced to bring water to him. When the old man drank the water, again he thanked God in Arabic language. The Iraqi officer got so angry when he heard these words in Arabic and he said that I can swear that he is an Arabic man and he hit him badly. But when the old man rejected this issue, they left him.

One of the brothers made a joke and he said: "I really ask you not to say anything; I know that if you continue your words, you will kill all of us. Since the old man got sad by these words, he said nothing until Al-Amareh city of Iraq.
