During one of the military operations, Hojjat Ol Eslam Abedini was dispatched to Mashhad city along with Imam Reza (AS) brigade. Not only he was a cleric from Mashhad city, but also he was a driver of Jeep cars which they would carry the cannons 106. When he was informed that the cannons won’t be delivered to the frontiers, he gave up that work and he went to the frontiers as a war veteran.
He got a motorcycle in the war zones. He went to the forces during a night and he stayed with them. During the midnight some bullets and bombs exploded near them. When Mr. Abdedini got up in the morning, he noticed that two war veterans had been martyred as a result of bomb explosions. He got on the motorcycle and he went to the other war veterans and left his overcoat and documents there. When Mr. Abdeni left that place, the enemy attacked and found the documents; they thought that the specifications belong to one of the martyrs. After that the Iraqi radio happily announced: Mola Ahmad Abedini, one of the clerics of Iran was kill!
