Martyr Reza Cherghi was in Saveh (Markazi province) in 1957. He was the commander of Hamzeh battalion in Fath – al – Mobin and Bait – al – Moghadas operation. Finally he was martyred in the path of Islam and revolution at the 1st Valfajr Operation.

When martyr Cheraghi left us and moved toward the forefront, I called him on the military wireless "Reza…Reza…Hemmat, Reza…Reza…Hemmat", do not call him again since he had joined his creator, a man answered me on the line.
It was such a day that martyrs "Reza Cheraghi", the commander of Mohammad Rasoul Allah battalion, the shining star of "Dokooheh"(name of a place) joined his creator. Here is a narration from martyr Ibrahim Hemmat:
At the night he stayed with us and took rest. As he woke up in the morning, he said his prayer and got ready. "What's the matter? Why you wear new Military trousers? I asked him. I want to go to the front line; he answered me while he was laughing. It's not necessary to go… we need you here more, I told him…he got sad. He insisted on his willing. At the moment we received a message that informed us about the Bathi attacks.
He moved forward…after some hours we heard about the bathi attacks. When martyr Cheraghi left us and moved toward the forefront, I called him on the military wireless "Reza…Reza…Hemmat, Reza…Reza…Hemmat", do not call him again since he had joined his creator, a man answered me on the line. I under stood that he was martyred.
