In this memorandum, we have visited a chivalrous man whose courage and stamina is a proud for the youth of this land. His last honorable minutes of life turned to the style of the Islamic history and Iran brave men as well as a proof to show that their life is not a legend. Tayeb Haj Rezaei and Ismaeil Haj Rezaei shielded the people who shouted their dignity and honor in the 15th of Khordad (June 5th, 1963).
Martyr Niknam Tayeb Haj Rezaei was born in Saboon Paz Khaneh (Soup making Area) in Tehran. His father, Hosseinali Haj Rezaei was from Qazvin who migrated to Tehran and brought firewood for the bakeries. Tayeb had 3 brothers called Haji Masih, Akbar and Taher. He was interested in Iranian traditional Sport (Bastani) from his childhood and soon after his military service, he became a famous wrestler in Tehran. Tayeb was one of the main key people of the fruit and vegetable market in Tehran and was busy in this business as well. He had 2 wives and 7 children in his life.
Tayeb was imprisoned many times during his springtime because of quarrel. Two years in single jail for fighting with the guards in 1316 (1927), five years imprisonment with hard labor in 1322 (1933), banished to Bandar Abbas because of being accused of murdering. With all these records, he never shaved in Mohrarm month and mourned for Imam Hossein in black dress. He was connected with some of the clergy men and spirituals. In 1336 (1957) in SAVAK report, it’s mentioned that Tayeb had sent fruits to Ayatollah kashani home. First Tayeb was loyal to Shah so as he had tattooed shah picture and the Sun and Lion flag on his body (the Coat of arm in Shah era was Sun and Lion).
Tayeb was not that active in the 15th of Khordad event while he didn’t play a negative role as well. But he was arrested with another 400 people accused of bash order and Tayeb and Ismaeil Haj Rezaei were called the leader of the arrested group. After 13 sessions of trials, they were sentenced to death being accused of bash order, treason and criminal activities issued by the no 1 special court of the guard corps headed by brigadier Hossein Zamani and prosecutor General Ahmad Dolu Qajar and public defender brigadier Shayanfar. They were executed early in the morning of 11th Aban ,1342 (2nd November, 1963)
In this collection, we have reviewed the men who have not been studied or researched despite their great right in the Islamic revolution course, although their magnanimity`s chanting have been transferred from man to man to the children of this land.
Most of Tayeb and Haj Ismaeil friends are not among us anymore, but the words of those who are still with us can illustrate their practical honoring nature.
Hoping that this effort would be accepted.
