Poet calls on resistance poets to seek true path of resistance

The executive secretary of the 4th Congress of International Islamic Resistance Poetry has called on resistance poets to direct the society to the true path of resistance in their works.

NAVIDESHAHED: “Poets may direct the resistance culture to the correct path given the fact that the society is influenced by their works,”? said Nosratollah Salehnejad in an interview with the news headquarters of the congress.
Speaking about the presence of Arabic poets in the congress, Salehnejad asserted that invitations have been sent to prominent Arabic poets in various countries of the world to attend the congress, as general calls for works for Arabic poets have been issued in their countries for all other interested poets who may want their works be screened and considered by the panel of judges of the congress.
As he said, the submitted Arabic works are being considered by the panel of judges. After being rendered into Persian, they will be distributed among the judges for further appraisal.
An Arabic poet may attend the congress provided that the quality of their work is approved by the panel of judges, he went on to add.
Elsewhere in his interview he added that members of the Arabic panel of judges comprises 7 judges of whom three are translators from Egypt, Yemen and Lebanon and the rest was renowned language masters from Arabic countries and a Persian translator of Arabic literature.
“Arabic poets regard Iran as being worthy of leading the world’s resistance literature and look at Iran as being committed to resistance poetry and literature,”? added Salehnejad. “They have repeatedly aired their joy of attending the congress and contacting Iranian poets. In fact, they partake in a kind of competition by attending the congress in Iran.”?
The ruling regimes in Arabic countries make it hard for resistance poets to live and work freely in their countries, he added. “Many of the poets are keen on attending the congress, but are unable due to political as well as security issues which are growing day by day. Besides, western media and false religions propagate a lot of erroneous details about Iran and the resistance, which is another obstacle to the overwhelming presence of foreign poets in the congress.”?
The impact of western propagation on resistance poetry is obvious in the sayings of resistance poets who attend the congress in Iran, he further added.
The 4th Congress of International Islamic Resistance Poetry is slated to be held during October or November in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran
