The Martyr Who Had a Pledge with September 7

According to Fars News Agency Epic and Resistance Service, Martyr Ghasem Dehghan was the authority of several battalions during the Sacred Defense Era and he performed many sacrifices and epics and he was injured several times as well, but he never gave up his fighting.

After the end of war, he went to Fakeh war zone along with the Sayyed of martyr writers ‘Sayyed Mortaza Avini’. His presence in Fakeh led to finding out the corpses of hundreds of martyrs, because he was familiar with the war zone so good.

Martyr Ghasem Dehghan who was an artist as well, he had so much interests in presenting goals and effets of revolution and war through the cinema and this feature could be seen in him clearly. Eventually he was martyred on September 8, 1995 at the time of scene reconstruction of Islamic war veterans due to early explosion of bombs for the film ‘A peace of heaven’.

After that SAVAK forces surrounded his house and they got involved in a fighting. They were tortured for many months. Even their execution verdict had been issued, but since God helped them, they were rescued by the Islamic Revolution.

After the revolution, he initially entered the Committee and after that he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. After the establishment of the brigade 27 by Haj Ahmad, he came there and he handled Abuzar battalion. He was present during all the moments of the military operation Fathol Mobin and Beitol Moghadas. After that he went to Lebanon along with Haj Ahmad and the other comrades.

After departure from Lebanon and coming to Iran, he came to the brigade 27 once again that now it had been converted to the Army 27. Therefore Haj Hemmat appointed him as the commander of the battalion ‘Malek Ashtar’. The epic and sacrifices that were made by Haj Ghasem and the war veterans of the battalion during the military operation ‘Valfajr 1’ in the mountainous areas of 112 heights can not be imagined by anyone.

I can only say this that he was innocent. Both when he was alive and when he was martyred. He joined the friends and followers of Imam Khomeini on September 8, 1978 and he was martyred on September 8, 1995 and he joined the God of Imam Khomeini.
