\"18 Years of Loneliness\" to be Authored

Mohammad Badaghi announced that a new book titled ‘18 Years of Loneliness’ is being written and he added: “This work is being written in the form of story related to martyr major general Hussein Lashkari. This commander was captured by the Iraqi forces on September 18, 1980 and he returned to country on April 6, 1998 and he was martyred in 2009 due to effects of injury and tortures that he had tolerated in the Iraqi camps. He passed away at Laleh hospital.”?

This writer continued: “In my opinion, the time of the Sacred Defense Era is a section of defense, because some people such as martyr Lashkari were resisting until the freedom time and they would be tortured, also the resistance of martyr Lashkari became a motivation for me to write the story book related to this great man of the Sacred Defense Era.”?

Badaghi also considered ‘6410’ as the only available work which narrates the biography of martyr Lashkari and regarding the difference of his book with this work said: “ The book ‘6410’ is a beautiful, effective and influential work and it is mostly related to the sayings of martyr Lashkari and it has not discussed the biography of martyr Lashkari in details, but my book is written in the form of story and it narrates the details related to many years of captivity of this great man of the Iran-Iraq war era.”?

He added: “The ups and downs of life of martyr Lashkari are so much in a way that in some cases like the story of his return to Iran has the capacity of writing a dependent book in this field. In the story book ‘18 Years of Loneliness’, I express and discuss the biography of martyr Lashkari from the time that he joined the Army until the time that he returned to country. In order to complete the sources, in addition of using the book ‘6410’, I have interviewed his spouse, child and also colonel Saleh Afshar Toisarkani who has many memories related to him. Of course each time that we write a story, some new issues are stated and I will pay attention to them as well.”?

Badaghi continued: “I’m so sensitive in selecting a title for the book and I believe that by the selection of the title, 50 % of the work will be completed. Right now I have started the writing of the book and also I try to have an interview with Abu Farah, the turnkey of martyr Lashkari in Iraq. Until now some negotiations have been done in this field as well, but they have not been useful at all. Until now I have not concluded a contract with any publisher in order to release the book.”?
