How Iraqi Officers Body Searched Iranian Martyrs

Navideshahed: The Iraqi Intelligence Officer pointed to a spot and he said: “There is a perfume smell at this place; therefore wherever there is a smell of perfume, one could find Iranian martyrs' corpses for sure.”?

According to Fars News Agency Epic and Resistance Team, searching and investigating the corpses of martyrs is a very difficult and hard work, but it has an absolutely passionate atmosphere at the time of doing this work. There is an interesting narration which has been mentioned bellow for you:

….Satar, the Iraq’s intelligence officer who accompanied some of the Iranian investigators inside the land of Iraq seemed to be a person who did not have so much belief in God. At the beginning of the work in the morning he pointed to a spot and he said: “There is a perfume smell at this place; therefore wherever there is a smell of perfume, for sure you can find the corpses of Iranian martyrs there.”?

Even though the perfume and good smell of martyrs was something natural for the Investigation and Searching teams, but this Iraqi element had been fully surprised by this action and they concluded that even the Iraqis feel the perfume smell of the martyrs.

On June 13 at the same time of Arbaeen Husseini (AS) we decided to return the body of an Iranian martyr which had been found in 11 kilometers in the dept of Iraqi territories close to Sharhani military base located in the southern part of Iraq’s Oil Installations. Against the other days, that day was very warm and hot.

Four of the investigation and searching team and four of the Army war veterans crossed the borders and they moved towards Iraq by walking. Whatever was significant for the war veterans in regards to security was the activity of anti-revolutionary militants known as MKO force. Therefore they moved carefully and cautiously in this zone. When we got close to the Iraqi asphalt road, suddenly a vehicle with several passengers stopped. We got prepared to get involved in a conflict, fortunately they did not see us and the car continued its path.

We entered the place where the corpse of the martyr had been buried. It was the body of a soldier who did not have a head like his lord Imam Hussein (AS) on Arbaeen day at the time of martyrdom. Since the forces were moving in a tactical condition and with a very long distance, we noticed that two of the personnel are not with us. We thought that inside the valleys and hills they have changed their direction towards the Iraqi headquarters which located to a close distance, we got worried about this issue. On the other hand due to the delay of connection with these forces and the shortage of drinking water, we faced with the lack of water and thirst.

That is why some of the personnel who were with us they had to go through shortcuts in order to find them and the rest took the corpse of the martyr to the Iranian borders. The intensity of the warmness was so high. Also the lack of water and not having information regarding the situation of the missing personnel led to the reduction of physical and mental power of the personnel in a way that after passing 3 kilometers from the place of finding the body of the martyr, some of the personnel faced with nausea, dizziness and vomiting. There was no shade in that big desert and we could not find even a drop of water.

At the same place, the personnel remembered Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal followers and the intensity of the difficulties that the abovementioned great religious persons tolerated in Karbala and they started mourning. Some of the personnel reached a ruined rifle pit with so much difficulties, but they were still waiting for those personnel who had been missed; because some of the personnel were dieing due to intense thirst. Two of the personnel passed the 5 kilometer distance to the Army Headquarters despite of their bad physical and mental situation in order to get some information about the missing personnel and to get help and bringing water and vehicle. They also faced with intense warmness and thirst, but since God helped them and they benefited from the assistance of the Imam of the time, they were saved and they arrived to the Army headquarters and they provided water and vehicle to the investigation group and they rescued them. Also two of the personnel who had passed the shortcuts, they joined the investigation team.
