The Jewelry of Martyr Babaei's Wife Contributed for the Good of Fighters

Navideshahed: Only five to six days had remained to the Iranian New Year of 1982. Martyr Babayee came to our house and he gave some gold to me and he said: “Tomorrow I need money, sell them…”?

According to Navideshahed, there is an interesting and beautiful narration regarding the cares of martyr Abbas Babayee to his subordinates and you can read it bellow:

Only five to six days had remained to the Iranian New Year of 1982. Martyr Babayee came to our house and he gave some gold including some necklace and bracelets to me and he said: “Tomorrow I need money, sell them…”?

I said: “If you need money, you can tell me, and then I will provide for you.”?

In response to my words, he said: “Don’t worry about this issue. I bought these things before and now I don’t need them. Also I have talked with my family.”?

I went to Esfahan on the next day and I sold them and then returned home. I telephoned him in the afternoon and I told him that I did what he wanted. He told me that he will come there in order to take the money during the night.

Martyr Babayee came to our house at night and he asked me to go for a walking. I picked the money with myself and we went out together. When we got a away from the house for a bit, he said: “The situation is not good. The price of the goods has been increased and the salary of employees and workers is so low and their revenue is not equal to their expenditures and…”?

He talked for about half hour. After that he looked at me and said: “You employees have many family members. Your costs is so high and I don’t know what to do.”?

After that he asked: “How much are these package of bank-notes?”?

I said: “ They are 100 and 50 Tomans bank-notes.”?

He took the money from me and without counting them, he took out some money and he gave to me and he said: “This money should be for you and for your family. You can buy something for them during this New Year night to make them happy.”?

At first I did not accept, but since I thought he will be sad, I accepted and then he said good bye to me and he left. I returned home so happily.

Later I noticed that he had shared the money among his married soldiers at the same night; especially those who wanted to go on leave for the New Year occasion in order to buy something for their wives and children…
