Brigadier General Basiji Mohammad Reza Naghdi, the chief of Mostazaafin Basij Organization during a press conference for the 30th anniversary of Khorramshahr Freedom said: “Those persons who threat the Islamic Iran today should learn lessons from the capture of Khorramshahr and they should know that the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran is relied on the divine power and the result of each overcharging in any field will not be followed with anything expect what occurred on May 23 and the Victory of Iranian Nation.”?

The chief of Mostazaafin Basij Organization pointed out to different and varied programs during the anniversary of Khorramshahr Freedom and he continued: “For the first time the Congress to Honor the Khorramshahr Martyrs special for 1751 martyrs from Khorramshahr whose many families had moved from Khorramshahr due to occupation and they had been identified during two years by Basij Organization will be held on May 23, 2012.”?

He also considered holding three big sessions as the most important activities of this congress and he said: “Holding the Women Resistance session on May 21 in order to glorify 38 female war veterans of the Sacred Defense Era in Khorramshahr by presence of hundreds of female war veterans from all around the country and the Resistance and Migration and Victory will be held on May 22 and 23, 2012.”?

Commander Naghdi pointed out to the unveiling of Khorramshahr Martyrs Website and he added: “Unveiling seven books about the martyrs of Khorramshahr, two festivals of resistance poem in Arabic and Persian languages on May 19 and 20, 2012, Festival of Khorramshahr theater in the Persian Gulf Complex of this city and holding the huge Sacred Defense Era Book Fair with special discounts in the shore of Karoon River as the other programs of the abovementioned congress.”?

He also pointed out to the sacrifices of Khorramshahr people and the need of doing more services to this city and he stipulated: “Cleaning the city and the public mosque by the Basijis, city beautification, beginning implanting palm in the way Khorramshahr to Shalamcheh until the end of year, assignment of 1700 hectares of lands for the purpose of agriculture and production for the people of Khorramshahr are some of the activities that will be done on May 23, 2012.”?

The chief of Mostazaafin Basij Organization also appreciated the hosting of friendly people of Khorramshahr for Rahiyan Noor trips and he announced: “5000 persons from the people of Khorramshahr from May 23 until the end of the year will be dispatched to the holy city ‘Mashhad’ in order it be a response to their warm welcome to the Rahiyan Noor trips.”?

He also described the programs of the 30th Anniversary of Khorramshahr Freedom so great and expanded and he continued: “The occasion of family walking in all around Khozistan province by the assistance of Sports and Youths of province will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012. Also a celebration will be held within three nights along with illuminating the city. This occasion will be held by presence of Khorramshahr people and live coverage of IRIB.”?

In response to the question of a reporter regarding fighting against deprivation in Khorramshahr, he stated: “Many activities have been done by the executive systems in this field, but that is not sufficient.
