Quran Contest to be Held for Zimbawan Youth

Navideshahed: Muslim youth in Zimbabwe have participated in the National competition of Recitation and memorizing of the Quran.

The contest is organized by the Cultural center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in preparation of the international competitions to be held in Tehran. This year over 30 participants were drawn from all the 10 provinces in the country.

Assadi said the Muslim community should use the holy Quran to give guidance to the youths who are being affected by some elements which are reflecting the religion in a negative manner.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is also hosting the same competition in neighboring Botwswana, Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi.
