Bahraini Cleric Joins Protests against al-Khalifa Reforms

Navideshahed: Secretary General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society ‘Sheikh Ali Salman’ from Bahrain got present in the protests against the authorities of Al Khalifa’s regime and he emphasized on the continuity of resistance and unprofitable amendments that have been promised by the Al Khalifa.

According to Fars News Agency Monitoring, yesterday the people of Bahrain held protests called ‘Offering Freedom’ emphasized on the continuity of revolution path in this country.

Secretary General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society ‘Sheikh Ali Salman’ from Bahrain which is the biggest Shiite party in this country attended the protests and the protestors in the final statement of this protest emphasized that by passing more than 14 months from the revolution, still the regime’s suppressions are being continued.

This statement which has been published in the website of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society stipulates: “The lack of attention of the governmental authorities to the requests of people makes the political situation darker in Bahrain day by day.”?

The people in this statement emphasized that the promised amendments by the the Al Khalifa are previously failed, because the thought of amending does not exist in the governing system of this country at all and it will be superficial only.

The people of Bahrain attended the protests and they chanted some mottos and they stressed on this issue that they won’t accept the promises that have been expressed by the king of this country.

It should be noted that under the pressure of the world public opinion, the king of Bahrain has given some promise to do huge amendments in this country, while according to the saying of protestors none of the promises have been fulfilled by the governing regime.”?
