Silence Rules in the House where Nightly Prayers were Always Heard from

According to Fars News Agency, in 1952, martyr Motahhari had moved to Tehran from Qom city and after 15 years of tenantry, he bought a house in the southern neighborhoods of Tehran in Dardar alley, Rei St with the financial help of his spouse. This family resided in a house close to Guidance Religious center which had a significant role in establishment of Islamic discourses.

Many of the intellectual meetings and revolution activities of martyr Motahhari had been taken place in this house and many of the students and characters lived in that. The Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran in the line of its duties and commissions has bought and renovated the house and its facilities. The house was converted into a museum on the martyrdom anniversary of this great martyr of Islam.

As Ali Motahhari says, many of the books of martyr Motahhari have been written in the second floor of this house.

The second floor of this house has a hallway which is connected into two rooms. The studying room has a big window which is opened into the street. It is a room which combines the sounds of birds.

There was a silence in which this professor could do his philosophical thoughts and the other room which was the worshiping and resting room included bed and clothes racks on which still the cassock of this clergy is hanging on that.

There is a bed which has an old coverage and sheet and when you go to the house of every grandfather or grandmother the same bed can be seen. The bed is located in the corner of the room.

The prayer piece of clothing of this cleric is still open and it is waiting for the passionate and lovable prayer of this professor.

It was a piece of clothing which waited for this professor for more than 30 years and it emphasizes on the privacy of this scholar with God and it makes the intellect to think about this issue so deeply.

Balance is implemented. The stick of this professor is near his prayer piece of clothing and his library is still full of books. It includes the interpretation of holy Koran and a collection of philosophical epistles of Molla Sadra.

There is a cheery veranda. Maybe professor would use it after awhile of philosophical thinking for the purpose of walking and to think freely. Some of the photos that exist in the museum of martyr Motahhari and show the different aspects of martyr Motahhari’s life are related to the time that professor has ridden on a horse. This issue makes us to remember the suggestion of prophet who had said that every human should lean three sports including horse riding, shooting and swimming.

It was a place for gathering of great and senior authorities of revolution and as the eldest grandson of martyr Motahhari ‘Zahir Motahhari’ says all the senior and great authorities of revolution would gather here except Imam Khomeini.

The room which is mixed with the sound of spring birds and they have a good privacy and silence in that, it was the discussion and place of exchanging view of great revolution history makers which the destiny took them towards different direction and places.
