The founder of Islamic Republic of Iran on the anniversary of Army day in April 1989 through a message to the Iranian nation and armed forces, he glorified the championships and sacrifices of the armed forces of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army.

Within this message, he said: “I as the commander of General Armed Forces demand the authorities and decision makers that never neglect the empowerment and strengthening the armed forces and increasing their belief and military power, expertise development and specially movements towards self-sufficiency. In fact the authorities and decision makers must preserve this country for defense of pure Islamic values and the deprived and poor people of the world and for sure if we neglect in the defense field, it will be followed with the enemy avidity and invasion of foreign counties and finally they will impose wars and conspiracies against our country.”?
