Shiites' Only Mosque in Al-Khabar Demolished

“Saudi authorities due to chimerical reasons, they damaged a mosque which belonged to Ismaili tribe in Al-Saghbeh located in Al-Khabar city. These sources who did not wish their names to be revealed told Ebda Newspaper which belongs to Ismaili tribe: “The Municipality forces attacked the mosque by a bulldozer last week and they completely demolished the mosque,”? Saudi sources announced.

This newspaper wrote: “Saudi Security Forces also arrested the prayer leader and people who come for offering prayer; however these people were released later, under the oath of not protesting against the incident.”?

In this regard, also Mohammad Ebn Matar, the public prayer of the mosque was arrested as well.

This mosque has been closed by the demand of Mohammad Ebn Fahd Al-Vahid, the governor of Al-Sharqiyeh region and it was the only mosque of Ismaili Shiites; Also it should be noted that the governor of Al-Sharqiyeh region according to the demand of Amir Nayef, the minister of country does not allow the Ismaili Shiites to construct more mosques in the region as well.
