"Cypress Shades" Published

Navideshahed: ‘Cypress Shades’ has been written according to biography and memories of martyr Reza Mirza Khani, the deputy of Armed Engineering of Support Staff for the War. It has been written by Zahra Hadadi. The book was released by Shahed Publication.

According to Navideshahed, memory writing is the best method which can be used in order to remember the martyrs and war veterans of Iran-Iraq war era; so according to this issue, the biography and memories of martyr Reza Mirza Khani, the deputy of Armed Engineering of Support Staff for the War have been written in the book titled ‘Cypress Shades’. The book has been written by Zahra Hadadi.

The book is written in six chapters and it expresses the biography, memories, childhood and adolescence time and the time that this respectful man went to the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war. The martyrdom procedure of this martyr has been discussed in the book as well.

In a section off this book we can read a memory narrated by his comrade Ali Baghiri and it is stated: “Someday Reza’s car had been ruined and the enemy had started its attacks against the war zone. We went there to bring him to the main headquarters. I stopped the ambulance in a far distance. In fact I thought it is better that the cars not to be in the same place, so if any of the cars was attacked, the other car could be used. We changed the car’s tire, because it has been damaged as a result of the attacks. But the car would not move. We attached a towing wire to the ambulance and then we moved to be safe against enemy’s missile range. Suddenly we heard the alarm of an ambulance. I went on the sideline of the road to let the ambulance to go. I looked in the mirror, but I did not see any ambulance, but the alarming sound would not be stopped. I looked in the mirror that was inside the car to check if the ambulance is behind the car of Reza. But no ambulance was there too. I looked at Reza and I saw that he was laughing. I noticed that at that critical condition Reza was making jokes and he was making the sound of ambulance alarm by his mouth and he was laughing at my reaction.”?

The book ‘Cypress Shades’ will be released by collaboration and support of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs of Seman province and Shahed Publication. The book will be released in 3000 copies and its price is 2400 Toman. At the moment the book is available in the book market as well.
