Ali Ashraf Nouri:

Neutralizing 2009 Sedition Was a Revolutionary Act

Navideshahed: The two-volume book titled "Neturalizing 2009 Sedition" was examined in a session held at the House of Literati in the presence of top IRGC officials.

The session was held in the presence of Yadollah Javani, the head of the political division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (Sepah), Ali Ashraf Nouri, political deputy of the Guards Corps, Mohammad Vahdati, head of the research center of the Interior Ministry, and Mohammad Ali Naeini, head of the celebrating committee of 9th of Day Epic.

In his opening address, Mohammad Ali Asoudi, head of the Propagation and Organizational Culture Department of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, outlined some principal points about the book released by the Literati Guardians.

He praised the arrangement of the book of the year festival of the literati guardians as a fantastic idea that resulted in accumulation of over 2000 interested writers and submission of 420 new works from 221 writers. Besides, an articles section on Islamic Awakening will be added to the festival in its forward edition, he noted.

What is more, assessment sessions for the writers' works are arranged to be held in Tehran and other cities of the country, he stated.

He also added that an agreement is signed with the culture department of the guidance ministry to endorse publication of such books.

Later in the gathering, Ashraf Nouri delivered a speech in which he said, "The political division of the Corps performed a revolutionary act by publishing the book given the necessities of time. As a part of my studies, I have to review all the research works released on the 2009 Sedition and I'm confident to say that the book is among the best of its kind indicating Corps' capabilities.

"During the Revolution's second decade, enemies of the Islamic Revolution began to understand that they needed to resort to cultural means to damage the move; the 2009 Sedition is an upshot of their efforts in this regard. They chose the post-election time for their purposes," he added.

Ashraf Nouri further expressed hope that books like "Neutralizing 2009 Sedition" continue by cultural organizations of the country. "Publication of such books makes people feel the imminence of the soft war," he stated.

"The political division of the Guards Crops was formed parallel with the formation of the organization and engaged itself with on time dissemination of information and analysis," said Javani later in the meeting. "Neturalizing 2009 Sedition" is an outcome of the division's analyses."
