"Imam Khomeini and the Youth Awakening" Seminar Held in Nigeria
Navideshahed: Sponsored by Iranian cultural office and with the cooperation of International Modern Development Organization of Nigeria a seminar entitled "Imam Khomeini and youth awakening" held with the attendance of youths in Oshon state, Nigeria.
According to Navideshahed quoting the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Public Relations, Azimi, Iranian cultural attaché during the seminar said:"choosing the subject of Islamic Awakening with theme of youths is a sign of Imam Khomeinis thoughts and characteristics."
"Imam Khomeini who was himself the greatest presenter of Islamic awakening, knew the role of youth generation as important role and always mentioned "the youth generation is all my hope", he added.
After him Sheikh Abdollahi from a Nigerian University pointing to the great characteristic of Imam Khomeini mentioned:" the characteristic of Imam Khomeini is yet unknown for our generation and speaking about Imam is like having a drop from a sea."
"Although many clergy men separated religion from politics, Imam Khomeini believed that our Religion is the same of our Politics and our Politics is the same of our Religion. Imam also based the government on Islamic thoughts."
Pointing to the attention of Imam Khomeini to the youth generation he said:"Imam Khomeini always paid attention to the youths and advised them to a correct way of education based on Islamic and ethnic thoughts."
