Yet another Bahraini Martyr

Navideshahed: A 15 year old Bahraini protestor was shot dead as the clashes between al-Khalifa forces and protestors heightened.

According to reports, security forces used their vehicle to run over the Sayyed Hashim Sayyed Saeed Sayyed Issa after shooting at him. His funeral procession is Today 1.1.2011 at 14:00.

The shooting comes as anti-regime demonstrations were held in several villages across Bahrain.

In an attempt to quell protests, regime forces used tear gas and fired shots at the crowds. Numerous protesters were injured and dozens were arrested.

Bahrain has been undergoing a revolution since mid-February when massive popular protests erupted in the country, encouraged by the popular 2011 revolutions that toppled decades-long dictatorships in Tunisia and Egypt.

The Bahraini government launched a brutal crackdown on peaceful protests, and brought in Saudi-led Arab forces from neighboring Persian Gulf states.

56 people have been killed in the crackdown and hundreds have been arrested, including doctors and nurses accused of treating injured revolutionaries.
