President's Condolences for the Martyrdom of Iraqi Mourners

Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, expressed his condolences on the incidents that claimed martyrdom and injury of a number of the Iraqi mourners on the days of Tasu’a and Ashura (9th and 10th of the lunar month of Moharram).

Elsewhere in his message Iran’s president said the anti-human acts guided by the arrogant and the enemies of sovereign and free nations are planned and conducted by the cowardly mercenaries against the vociferous cry of freedom-seeking and justice-seeking of the followers of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). These acts are doomed to failure and the egoistic bullies will have gain nothing except abasement.

Terrorist blasts in some Iraqi regions during the days of mourning for the third Imam and infallible successor of the prophet of Islam, Imam Hussein (A.S.) claimed martyrdom of at least 25 people and injury of 78 others.
