According to Navideshahed, Karamat Izadpanah was born in 1953. From the beginning of his lifetime, he attempted to know the real Islam and he got familiar with a political-social movement as well. He wanted to go to Palestine during the years 1971 and 1972, but he did not succeed.
Karamat Izadpanah after joining the Military Officers Academy in 1973, he followed his conflicts against Shah’s regime more seriously. He also published a magazine regarding governance, guardianship and Imamate. After the victory of revolution and the start of the war, he joined the queues of those war veterans who wanted to go to the war. Eventually this respectful man was martyred in 1980 near Arvand River.
The current book reviews the memories relevant to this martyr based on the narration of martyr’s spouse. Some of the memories indicated his political and cultural conflicts against Shah’s regime. Along with these memories, in a section of the book the speeches of this martyr in the first round of the Islamic Parliament and also some of the notes along with photos and documents which have been left from this martyr have been illustrated as well.

They were surrounded by the enemy for three days and nights continuously without food and water. Eventually they decided to recite the martyrdom verse and they chanted the words ‘Allah Akbar’ and they ran away from the bridge to arrive to their own rifle pits. When he heard the shouting of one of his friends who was saying ‘Please help me, I’m injured’, he returned to help him, but he was targeted by a bullet and he was martyred simultaneously too.
‘Crazy to Fly’ was released in 2010 by Shiraz publication by the support of the Foundation for Preservation of Holy Works and Values of Sacred Defense Era for Kohgiloyeh and Boir Ahmad province. The book was published in 3000 copies.
