Navideshahed: "Kermanshah province has 900 female martyrs, 800 female martyrs are under the age of 15. About 1500 female devotees and chemically injured patients have been left from the Iran-Iraq war as well”?, Morad Kooshki told reporters in a press conference.

“In general and according to the direct involvement of the province with the Imposed War, a great proportion of the population living in the province are the war veterans and this province has the fifth position in the country in this field as well,”? he added.

Referring to this year's cross country "War Prisoners Home Returning" Meeting by the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs in the anniversary of war prisoners home return, Kooshki said:
“The conference was held in country for the first time and I hope that such conferences to be held in the future years as well.”?

He added: “On the sidelines of this conference, the place where a statue should be installed was clear and I hope that the statue of Iranian prisoners of war statue to be ready for the next year too.”?

He also pointed out to the national congress of bombardments martyrs that will be hosted by Kermanshah and he said this program will be done in the current year as well.

The general manager of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs for Kermanshah province in response to the question ‘how is the program of detecting new chemically injured patients going on?’ he responded: “Based on the coordination which has been done with the governors of the cities, we asked them to introduce all the persons who claim they are chemically injured patients, so we registered cases for them and then the required medical tests were done by the medical commissions as well. So we provide services to those persons who have been considered as chemically injured patients based on the votes of medical commissions.”?

Kooshki pointed out to this issue that about 4000 persons from the areas of Direh, Zardeh and Noudsheh have claimed that they were exposed to chemical weapons during the Iran-Iraq war and he added: “I don’t think a person to exist in this province that has been exposed to chemical weapons, but he has not received injury percentage.”?

He also regarding those persons who are injured or disabled during clearing the landmines said: “Based on the Islamic Parliament Approval, these persons are covered by the services of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs since 2011.”?

He also referred to this issue that we owe the martyrs, chemically injured patients and devotees and he outlined: “We must try so much to promote the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom and the mass Medias can play a significant role in this field as well. At the end of the active mass Medias in the field of promoting the culture and sacrifice were thanked as well.”?
