The Cramped Map of Nojeh Coup

According to Navideshahed, almost at the same time a pilot went to Ayatollah Khamenei and revealed the aerial attack plans of coup supporters, one of the ground operations agents, supplied the Information Committee of the Army with some critical information. One of the key agents in discovering and neutralizing the coup, said: "A few months before the coup, the Army Headquarters Committee and the Prime Minister Office received information on movements from USA and monarchist parties. About 48 hours before the coup, somebody in a frantic manner having an envelope in his hand knocked on the Army Headquarters Committee's door and said that there had been an important issue he could not reveal to the Army authorities because he couldn't trust them, and therefore he wanted to speak with the Islamic Revolution Committee authorities. "A coup is on the way; we are 12 and someone called Kheybari has paid us and provided us with a map to carry it out." He, then, explained the coup plan on the cramped map he had with him," he continued.

"Since we repented, we decided to unmask their plans. I have come here to do so on behalf of my own group. I hope you believe me; I have also the map and the money we received (1200000 Rials) with me," he said.

This was how a conspiracy was revealed and a coup neutralized. Concluding all the collected information, the coup neutralizing headquarters was formed in the evening of July 08, 1980, and the Defenders of Islamic Revolution prepared to counter the coup supporters, so that in the next day evening, operational teams besieged Laleh Park in Tehran, and Nojeh Base, and the road led to it in Hamadan, and the coup designed by Mask Network was neutralized.
