Sabotage by the Americans in searching for more than 7 thousand martyrs in Iraqi lands
TEHRAN, (SCIB) – the head of the committee for searching the missing of the central headquarters of the armed forces said that after many years of negotiations and agreement, the Iranian convoy entering to buffer zone of Fav to do search for the martyrs sabotaged by the Americans and was aborted.
According to the reporter of Navideshahed, General Sayed Mohammad Bagherzade stated that: ‘the searching team of Iran was prevented from entering Iraqby the intervention of occupying forces of US, despite the fact that the members had political passports. This was done in the face of the agreements with Iraqi side in which Iraqi officials accepted to provide the facilities for Iranian searching team to enter Iraq’. ‘ the international red cross committee, as a facilitator agent in solving the humanitarian problems, has not only been able to solve the problem, but also the searching for the martyrs has been completely failed due to the role of the same Red Cross’, he added. The head of the committee for searching the missing of the central headquarters of the armed forces announced the deliverance of notice of remonstrance to the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad by Danayifar, Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, saying that ‘ we expect that our Ministry of Foreign Affairs consider the issue in meetings with Iraqi officials. This is the least possible expectation Iranian people may have, after affliction by so cruel a war imposed by the Baath regime and vast devastation wrecked by the war’.
