The objectives of visiting the operational zones of the 33-day War

Caravans of the Travellers of the Light (the title of the travel of those who are interested in visiting the war zones of Iran-Iraq war of 1981-1989) to be sent to Lebanon

TEHRAN, (SCIB) – The special envoy of the Presidency to the Headquarters of the Travellers of the Light, Sayed Jamal Ali Alhosseini, in an address to the last day of the ceremony of the succour services in the military camp of Dej (meaning‘castle’) in Khorramshahr said that this year caravans of the Travellers of Light have been planned to be sent to the operational zones of the 33-day war of Zionist regime against Hezbollah of Lebanon.

He counted among the objectives of this programme ‘making Iranian people familiar with the Lebanese culture and the resistance front’. ‘In the programme, in addition to visit to the combat zones, the travellers will also make pilgrimage to the holy shrines located in Syria’, he said. Ali Alhosseini also announced the provision of marine caravans of travellers of the light among other programmes, saying that ‘to do this, we allocated some special budgets in order to grant privilege the invalid who are under the support of the Organization of Wellbeing for the Invalid in the Khuzestan Province’.
