There are approximately 35 titles of newspapers and publications that are published every day with large circulations.”?

This information is obtained through the statistics collected by “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? after evaluating and recognizing the highest coverage of news in the field of self sacrifice and martyrdom in each of these mentioned newspapers. This foundation intends to create a competing atmosphere among the newspapers.”?
In an evaluation of general status of newspapers in this field; Faghih said: “Since September 23rd 2008 till September 23rd 2009, this process had fluctuation. And it faced with an almost downward movement. Therefore, it can be a warning for the officials of newspapers and the press in order to do planning and program in the field of propagating the culture of self sacrifice and martyrdom. Nowadays, newspapers act as the connecting bridge between the audiences and the organizations. Therefore, we should transfer different cultures, especially the culture of self sacrifice and martyrdom to audiences through this medium.”?

Faghih further continued: “In order to cause motivation, “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? has first defined the status of these written media. And in addition to putting this process on the website of “Navideshahed”?, this foundation sends informing letters to the editors in chief of the editorial boards. And it causes motivation and competition among the newspapers for being more active in this field.”?
He also referred to other encouraging supports of this organization and said: “During the last year, this foundation honored the pioneer newspapers in the field of self sacrifice and martyrdom by cooperating in holding a conference with the “Association of Sacred Defense Reporters and Journalists”?. [Attaching very high importance to Velayat in mind and action of one person], “Preferring the Next World to This World”?, “Mojahedat”? [Fighting in the Way of God], “Mixing Wisdom with Love”?, “Looking Far”?, “Seeking Perfection”?, “Patience”?, “Defending the Truth”? and …
As for the most important elements in the above mentioned definitions, we can refer to “Velayat- madari”? [Attaching very high importance to Velayat in mind and action of one person] and “Defending the Truth”?. And it is important to know how much newspapers can make efforts in line with institutionalizing these elements. In this concept - based analysis of the wills of martyrs, we have come to the result that every will contains averagely four times the phrases of “Velayat Faghih”?, “Imam Khomeini”? and “Leadership”? as their reason for going to the battle fields. And these definitions have been repeated in every will for several times. Therefore, we should focus more on this issue in propagating the culture of self sacrifice and martyrdom.”?
