Popularity, Key to Persisting Memory of Martyrs

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Eskandar Yarnasab, the head of cultural and propaganda center of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans’ Affairs, told the (SCIB) reporter, “The Foundation doesn’t just aim at the mere holding of a ceremony in the remembrance of martyrs, the side aspects of such a ceremony are also considered.”? He pointed out, “The Foundation points at creating more diversity in the topical categorization of these ceremonies as well as deepening and promoting the message of such events. We seek to institutionalize these events and incorporate elements of Aashura Culture in them.”? He went on to say, “We are planning to institutionalize national events like the symbolic dusting of the tombs of martyrs with the help of other organizations.”?
