Conference on “The Youth and Way of Martyrs”? Was Held

According to the reporter of Navideshahed; this conference was held by “Youth Consultants”? Department of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs. This conference was held in presence of Dr Hossein Dehghan, Head of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? and the Deputy of the President, Commander Brigadier General Ali Fazli, the Commander of “Sayedol Shohada”? Division, Dr. Abdolreza Sheykhol Eslami, the Consultant of the President and Head of “Youth Consultants Group”? of the Presidential Office and a number of interested young people.
At the beginning of this conference, Commander Fazli delivered speech about the Subject “What Is the Duty of the Young People before Imam Khomeini?”?. He said: “The steps that Imam Khomeini took to create appropriate path for the movement of the youth are absolutely clear. And Imam Khomeini paved required grounds for the movement of the youth by his high and valuable strategy and view.”?
He further added: “The most difficult situation for a nation is imposing war to them. Our nation was attacked by Ba’thi Regime of Iraq and approximately 44 countries entered war with us by supporting the regime of Iraq. Imam Khomeini told people at that time: “Any one who can carry gun in hands should go to battle fields.”? And our people obeyed Imam Khomeini and departed for battle fields after his speeches.”?
In continuation, he said: “many of our young people carried guns in battle fields for the first time. They had not been even trained in this regard. They just devoted their lives in order to obey what Imam Khomeini had said. And these young people defended borders of our homeland with extreme self sacrifice and sincerity.”?
As for the role of the young people in war, Commander of Sayedol Shohada Division said: “Following defeat of Bani Sadr (President of Iran at the beginning years of war) in three operations, Imam Khomeini became determined to trust young people. And the result of such trust was continual victories in different operations created by these young people. As Imam Khomeini said: “Become a united hand”?, all these young people including “Basiji”? (Volunteer forces”?, Sepah Pasdaran (The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution) and the Army of Islamic Revolution gave hands in hands of each other and were united. They established the university of war and sacred defense that martyrs were its graduates.”?
Fazli further added: “Thanks to self sacrifice of the young people and this nation, even a small part of land of Iran was not occupied by Ba’thi enemy.”?
In conclusion of his speeches, Commander of Sayedol Shohada Division told his memories about Karbala 5 Operation and self sacrifice of combatants in this operation.
In continuation of the conference, Dr Abdol-reza Sheykh-ol Eslami, the Consultant of the President and Head of “Youth Consultants Group”? of the Presidential Office delivered speech about honoring names and memories of martyrs and said: “Honoring names and memories of martyrs is one of the most important divine customs and commands. And it is the duty of every individual in our country to make effort in line with respecting them and honoring them.”?
He further added: “I believe that one of the points which we should all pay attention is to know what we have and our true capabilities. We should know our capabilities, abilities and facilities as well as our weaknesses. And we should make efforts in line with strengthening these capabilities and eliminating the weak points.”?
As for the reasons of victory in the imposed war, Sheykh-ol Eslami said: “We obtained wonderful achievements and miraculous victories in the situation that we benefited from the least military equipments and trained forces. And it was our belief in God that caused us to resist against Ba’thi Regime of Iraq during this imposed war and considering all shortages.”?

He further added: “Invisible hands that determine the destiny were other elements of our victory in this war. We will achieve the endless ocean of science, knowledge and ability of becoming dominant on all the world and people if we can benefit from these two mentioned elements.”?
In conclusion of his speech, the consultant of the President said: “Belief in God means believing what has been said in Koran and being sure about fulfilling the promises of God. And it was belief in God and believing in divine victory that caused our victory I different stages of war. Our war has apparently finished; but war in different fields, cultural fields in particular is still continuing. And we intend not to sit motionless and we will continue fighting by the time we are alive.”?
In conclusion of this ceremony, Abdol-jabbar Kakayee, the poet read some of his poems with the subjects of self sacrifice and martyrdom.
