The Video Clip Made for the Anniversary of Martyrdom of Martyr Dastgheyb Is Ready to Be Broadcast

TEHRAN, (SCIB) -The video clip made for the anniversary of martyrdom of Martyr Dastgheyb (The third Mehrab Martyr; it means the person who has been martyred while saying prayers.) which is directed by Hossein Ghassemi Jaami is ready to be broadcast. This video clip is made based on the order of Shahed Cultural Institution.

In an exclusive interview with Navideshahed reporter; Hossein Ghassemi Jaami announced the above and added: “This video clip is made aiming at making the young generation familiar with character of Martyr Dastgheyb with a biographical view since birth till martyrdom.”?
He further added: “This video clip is made based on the Poem “Silence Umbrella”? said by Abdoljavad Kakaee with the voice of Ali Lohrasbi. The scenes of this 3 minute and 4 second video clip were recorded in Shiraz City for 4 days.”?
As for choosing Shiraz City for recording this video clip, Ghassemi Jaami said: “Martyr Dastgheyb rose from the city of Shiraz in Fars Province; hence, we chose this city in order to create a better atmosphere in the clip and transfer many concepts in the life of this martyr. Through picture and showing architecture, culture and geographical situation during the time Martyr Dastgheyb lived, we could more successfully transfer the social and cultural atmosphere to the audiences; while it was not possible to transfer these concepts through poem and voice.”?


As for actors in this video clip, Jaami said: “All actors who play the role of Martyr Dastgheyb since childhood till adulthood are amateur actors. They have been chosen mostly based on their similarity in appearance with this respected martyr. One of the clergymen of Shiraz plays the role of Martyr Dastgheyb in his adulthood. He looks like Martyr Dastgheyb very much. This video clip will be most probably broadcast from TV on December 10th concurrent with the anniversary of martyrdom of Martyr Dastgheyb.”?


Hossein Ghassemi Jaami was born in Tehran in 1963. He was graduated from Film Making Training Islamic Center. He started artistic activities with making films in “Children Educational and Cultural Institution”? in 1976.
Ghassemi Jaami has presented valuable works as director, director assistant, secretary of the stage, writer, rewriting film scripts, stage designer and special effect maker.
As for the works he has directed since 1981 till 2001, we can refer to the following works: “Till Border of Meeting”? (1989), “The Glassy Eye”? (1990), “Under the Sky”? (1992), “One Night, One Stranger”? (1994), “Flight of Soul”? (1997), “The Red Freedom”? (2003) and “Whisper of Buddha”? (2007).
As for the works Ghassemi Jaami has written, we can refer to the following works: “Till Border of Meeting”? (1989), “The Glassy Eye”? (1990), “Flight of Soul”? (1997) and “whisper of Buddha”? (2007).
And he has been the director assistant and special effect maker of “Jacob, the Prophet”? (1993). He rewrote the film script of “Under the Sky”? (1992) and “One Night, One Stranger”? (1994). He was the stage designer of mentioned two works too. And he was finally the secretary of the stage in “Passing”? (1994).
