Depression is the most prevalent mental disease. Those who had lost one of their parents are exposed to depression more than others. Shahed children are not excluded, so that this research compares depression between Shahed and non-Shahed students. It is a causality-comparative research. Research community includes all male and female students of second and third grade of high school in Kermanshah as 200 out of which were chosen randomly in four high schools. Evaluating tool in this research is depression-test method. Results shows that depression level of Shahed students is more than non-Shahed students in second and third grade of high school especially depression among male Shahed students was more than non-Shahed male students.
