Special Programs of Armed Forces on The Occasion of 18th Anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s Pass Away

According to the report quoting public relations department of the headquarters of commemorating Imam Khomeini’s pass away anniversary, the coordination meeting among representatives of the armed forces were held in the amphitheatre of the headquarters. The report says that the programs of the armed forces on the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s pass away are as follows: Installing promotional posters and boards in all parts of the country and military organizations, visiting Jamaran (The place where Imam Khomeini lived and met people) and Imam Khomeini Holy Shrine by the armed forces, serving free of charge food and drink in police stations on inter-city roads and holding cultural contests and mourning groups. As for the other programs of the armed forces on the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s pass away which were brought up at the meeting we can refer to the following programs: Arranging visit of Imam Khomeini Holy Shrine for employees and families, production of a 20-minute documentary film about the day June 5th, 2007 which is the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s pass away, distributing 12000 CDs among pilgrims of Imam Khomeini holy Shrine, parading 3000 armed forces in uniforms from Jihad Square (An square close toe Imam Khomeini Holy Shrine) to Imam Khomeini Holy Shrine and publishing a newspaper focusing Imam Khomeini and leadership.
