“The Expelled”? breaks sales records

TEHRAN, (SCIB) -The film “The Expelled”? has sold more than 5,000 million rials only 17 days after its screening started. Ali Sartipi, the distribution manager of Filmiran told (SCIB) reporter, “The film is on screen in most provinces simultaneous with its Tehran screen. It has won a lot of favor among viewers. In Mashad, for instance, the film sold more than 4 million tamans last night. This is an unprecedented sale record.”? He expressed hope that the film will sell even more once people are back in Tehran after the New Year (Nowrooz) holidays.
