The first studio for recording the memories of Islam’s veterans was inaugurated in Khavaran Cultural center under the name “commander Martyr Alireza Assemi”?. The studio was established with the aim of development and deepening of the rich culture of Revolution and the holy defense. According to Shahed Cultural Information base, the studio was inaugurated concurrent with the commemoration of chemically injured war veteran and basiji photographer, Ehsan Rajabi and is the only studio that will be available to the veterans for this purpose. On the establishment and inauguration of this Studio, Ahmadloo, director of Khavaran Cultural center told the reporters “With losing each veteran, part of the (unwritten) vernacular culture of the sacred defense will be lost and buried under the ground. To record this culture, we needed a studio exclusively designed for this purpose; not one that records the memories of the veterans alongside its other activities.”? On the naming of the studio after martyr Alireza Assemi, he pointed out “whenever he had any free time, this hononorable martyr would always suggest to his fellow-warriors that they recount their memories in order to pass their experiences to one another. He always placed great importance on the recounting of memories and experiences”? Mohammad Taghi Jangravi, director of public relations of Khavaran Cultural center stated “Obviously, in a situation where part of the culture of our eight years of sacred defense is getting lost with every veteran’s death (due to age, accidents or martyrdom as a result of chemical injuries), this can be an essential step in the preservation of this historical heritage and handing it down to the posterities".
