Electing, appointing and keeping managers are of the most basic issues that the Senior Managers take into account. The Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs is not exempt from this rule. Therefore the present research is aimed investigating the process of electing, appointing and keeping managers in the Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs and presenting appropriate samples. The research methodology is field study and library based and the research community includes all the general mangers of the provinces and the central branch, assistant managers, general managers, chiefs of the Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs of special and big cities. The researcher has chosen 150 persons from among them at random. In order to gather information questionnaire was used. The statistical methods used are descriptive statistics, deductive statistics and two sentence tests, as well as analysis of variance. The results indicate that:
1.Motivational presents such as spiritual and economical bonuses are influential in keeping the managers.
2.It is advisable to appoint the official staffs of the Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs to these positions.
3.% 91 of the respondents believe the managers have to take educational periods of management before and after taking the position for education is highly effective in increasing their effectiveness and output.
4.% 85 of the respondents believe that continuous and appropriate assessment of the managers are highly recommended for identifying worthy and meritorious managers as well as for increasing effectiveness and output.
5.The managers have to take educational periods which are specified beforehand on management after taking the position for education is highly effective in increasing their effectiveness and output.
6.Any one who is considered for the managerial position has to have some technical and professional characteristics along with the general characteristics that the managers have to have.
