The present research has been conducted with the aim of surveying the social and economical obstacles and problems in remarriage of the shahed widows of Hamedan and presenting guidelines for the ease of these remarriages as well as overcoming the available problems and obstacles after remarriage of the shahed widows.
The data collected were analyzed by the use of X² Test and the results indicate that both married and single women believe in cooperation with Martyrs’ Foundation in Marriage issues.
There is meaningful difference between married and single women about cutting the pension received from Martyrs’ Foundation in case the widow married. The single wives were more heartily content with marriage than the married wives.
Both married and single wives believe that remarriage has consequent problems and this has caused fear in them.
The single shahed wives believe that the parents and family members of the martyrs do interfere with their remarriage in comparison to the married ones.
The shahed married and single wives do not expect the division of the wealth and heritage of the martyr in case of their marriage.
Both shahed married and single wives believe, as much as each other, in the precious role of psychology in solving their problems.
