A Comparative Study of Intellectual Characteristics of the Shahed and Non_ Shahed Children of Ilam on the Basis of Colorful Toy _ Man

The main purpose of the present research is to see if there is any difference between shahed and non _ shahed children from the point of view of intellectual characteristics on the basis of drawing colorful toy _ man.
The research community includes all the shahed and non _ shahed primary students in three groups aged 9, 10 and 11 years old studying at the schools of Ilam in 1996 _ 1997. The research samples are divided into two groups of shahed and non _ shahed students. The community of the shahed students includes 47 persons and the same quantity is chosen from the non _ shahed group. The means of the research is drawing toy _ man test and the statistical method used is T _ test.
The results show that there are meaning differences in the final grade of the shahed and non _ shahed students. There is difference the color the students used for the cloths but there is not such difference in the color they used for the head.
