The present research is aimed at identifying the rate of educational progress of the shahed and non _ shahed students with regard to Gender. The population of the research is composed of the shahed students of the University of Shahed in Tehran in 2001 _ 2002 and the non _ shahed students of Azad University from among whom the researcher has chosen 100 students (50 shahed and 50non _ shahed students) categorically at random. In order to gather information the averages of the students in three consecutive terms have been used and the statistical method used in order to analyze the data collected were X² _ Test and Students T_ Test.
The results of the research show that:
1.There is meaningful difference between educational progress of the shahed and non _ shahed students.
2.There is not meaningful difference between gender and educational progress of the shahed and non _ shahed students.
