Angry Protesters in Bangladesh Burn US Flag

Navideshahed: A large crowd of people in Bangladesh took to the streets in the capital city of Dhaka and burned the US flag to show their anger at a blasphemous movie against Islam which has been produced by an American-Israeli man in the US.

Protesters warned they may besiege the US embassy in Dhaka after security forces stopped protesters marching to the building.

Meantime, political groups in the Muslim country called for bigger protests as demonstrators threw their fists in the air, burned the flag and chanted anti-US slogans.

The Muslim world is outraged at the US for allowing the production of the blasphemous Movie, which insults the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and depicts Islam as an oppressive religion.

The anti-Islam film has drawn condemnation from Muslim countries including Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia and Sudan, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, etc.

In Iran, millions of Iranians in Tehran and other cities across the country held nationwide rallies in protest against the recent desecration of Islam.

The Iranian protesters chanted "Death to the US" and "Death to Israel" slogans, expressing disgust at the US and the Zionist regime's anti-Islam policies.
