"The Wooden Effigy and Nightingale Singing" to be Published

According to Navideshahed quoting Sura Mehr Website, Mohammad Esmael Haji Aliyan regarding the book ‘The Wooden Effigy and Nightingale Singing’ said: “This work consists of 9 short stories with the subjects of revolution and the Sacred Defense Era and the conditions after revolution. He declared: “One of the short stories is the story ‘The Wooden Effigy and Nightingale Singing’. Also this name has been used as the title of the book as well; this subject points out to a part of the cultural identity of Iran; ‘Elf’ is a fictional creature which exists in the culture of Iranians. The Kurds have wooden dolls and each time that a child is born, they hang the doll in front of the house gate in order to make the elf understand that this house has a guard each time that it wants to enter the house. The nightingale whistle is also about the place where the first character of the story is so excited and he whistles, it whistles the same as nightingale.”?

This writer declared: “I was born in a family who had a direct connection to the war. My brothers would go to the battlefields with different excuses and writing this book has somehow become an intellectual concern for me.”?
