Bahrainis' Solidarity with Imprisoned Human Rights Activist

Navideshahed: The people of Bahrain held protests and sit-ins in different areas of Bahrain in order to show their solidarity with Nabil Rajab, the chief of the Human Rights Center of Bahrain.

According to Al-Alam News Network, the people of Bahrain held protests and sanctuaries in various regions of this country to show their solidarity with Nabil Rajab who has been recently detained in airport by the Bahraini Security Forces when he was returning from Beirut.

These protests have also been held for the purpose of showing solidarity with the Bahraini women who have been jailed following the people revolution in this country. The protestors called on immediate freedom of the female prisoners.

The National Consensus and Islamic Society of Bahrain also considered detaining the chief of Bahrain’s Human Rights Center as illogical action.

This society also condemned the detention of Bahraini women.

The public prosecutor has demanded that Nabil Rajab must be detained for a week.

Bahrainis started revolting against al-Khalifa Regime more than one year ago.
